Being a Guild Officer is a privilege. It is not something to be taken lightly. The duties of an officer are to act as a leader among the guild members. It is your duty to set up guild scrimmage parties, end conflicts within the guild, recruit new members, basically putting yourself last, just as your guild leader. All other members must come first. (Not that you need to drop everything you're doing - or leave the mission you're in to help someone else) A true guild officer is one who squeezes in play time for him/herself and is helping others most of the time. If this is not appealing to you, then you should not aspire to become an officer. Officers have the power within the guild to make it great or make it fail. Recruiting is paramount in keeping the guild alive. Players come and go... searching for bigger and better things. Or they get busy in real life and have no time for Guild Wars. These things happen so as old members leave, a fresh stream of individuals must be entering the guild. New members can motivate even the oldest of members to play harder and have fun. Here is a list of the main requirements:

  • All of the Guild Member Requirements above, PLUS the following:
  • Must have a minimum of one 20th level character active in each available campaign (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, etc.) This may be one character in all campaigns, or multiple characters.
  • Enroll a minimum of one new guild member per week. Failure two weeks in a row = demotion
  • Must log into your account a minimum of once per week. Failure two weeks in a row = demotion
  • Must recruit existing guild members for guild scrimmages and build testing in the Guild Hall
  • Must Attend minimum of 50% of scheduled GvG battles, scrimmages, and Alliance battles.
  • Must contribute a minimum of 5 plat per month to guild "bank" a.k.a. Guild Leader
    • All gold donated will be used toward the GUILD ONLY. This is not a private leader siphon fund, all gold/platinum coins collected are used for the guild alone to be spent on what the officers and guild leader decide together..
  • Must provide suggestions and feedback to the Guild Leader regarding the guild and its members
  • Understand that your position is a privilege and will be cycled to another member should you not fulfil your duties as a guild officer. Officer positions are too limited to waste on players who don't do anything.
