Age of the Magi was founded in March of 2006 by a Ranger named Raven Earthmage. It seemed fitting to acquire the beautiful "Wizards Isle" for a guild named "Age of the Magi." The guild has grown steadily since its inception and is now thriving in all three released continents.
Age of the Magi was named after a tabletop RPG that the founder created with his real life friends back around 2000. It was the beginning of a "new age," so to speak. Although the tabletop game has not been finished completely, the name has already been released to the world through Guild Wars and this fansite.
Largely a PvE guild, Age of the Magi thrives through the contributions and aid of its members. We whole-heartedly welcome all players into the guild; both young and old, newbie and veteran, male and female... We believe in creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and instilling a desire to help fellow members when they need assistance.
This is not a guild for loners. We actively recruit new players and teach them the benefits of teamwork. We frequently accept mission requests and "run" requests.
